Various Safe City Projects developed include:
- BHT installed a total of 170 cameras for two residential enclosures from
Cyrildene, Bruma and Morninghill Bedfordview, a #SAFERCITY INITIATIVE - Monitors the area 24/7 fitted with trigger lines to pick up any perimeter
breach, with immediate tactical armed response. In addition, each of the five entrances with electronic booms have LPR cameras recording every license plate as well as LPR Linked Vumacam and SaferCity Solutions technology to
alert our Control Room and responders for flagged vehicles - Since installation, crime has reduced by 88 % since 2021
Amongst other city precincts, currently we are monitoring over 200 cameras in Bedfordview Ekurhuleni working closely with the CPF to enhance safety in the area.

Drone Surveilance & Response
- Drones can be deployed for patrolling, including thermal analysis for human intruders at
night, and GPS point patrols. - Drones are used for Riot Oversight and Scene Management and to scout areas where stolen vehicles or assets could be hidden before a facility is breached for searching.
- Drones used in townships to locate vehicles stashed inside areas inaccessible to the
public or law enforcement.

Contol Centre & CCTV
Blue Hawk Tactical operates from two control rooms in Brakpan and Bruma. These control rooms function 24/7 in order to ensure constant and effective communication between our clients, security officers, tactical response teams and management if and when necessary. All incoming and outgoing calls are logged for quality and monitoring purposes. We are presently expanding our control room to cater for additional CCTV remote monitoring.
The Blue Hawk Tactical control rooms use state-of-the-art security systems made up of various interlinked components. All security officers and response teams are monitored in real-time from the control room and tactical response teams are dispatched from here. Routine remote CCTV surveillance are carried out from here and the police and emergency units are effectively and timeously contacted. BHT is Tracker SA service provider.

Our mission objective is to deploy the best tactical response teams that integrate with our airborne solutions team (helicopter and drones) and the Surveillance Command Centre

giving BHT access to over 13 500 cameras - Through this resource base, it can monitor areas for flagged vehicles wanted by SAPS for
being involved in crimes, stop them and take the potential criminals down before they
commit another crime - BHT is able to locate hijacked vehicles where the tracking unit has been compromised and number plates have not been changed yet
